Jason Kavanaugh currently serves as the President and CEO of Concorde Holdings, Inc. and its wholly owned broker/dealer, Concorde Investment Services, LLC. At Concorde, Jason Kavanaugh draws on his considerable experience in the financial services sector. Headquartered in Livonia, Michigan, Concorde represents only the most recent of Jason’s many achievements in his field.
Jason has been a registered representative, a registered principal, Chief Marketing Officer and President of nationally registered broker/dealers and/or investment advisory organizations since 1994. In 1998, Jason Kavanaugh joined Questar Capital Corporation in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer, Director, and Founding Partner. Jason also served as Vice President of Questar’s holding company, Yorktown Financial Services Inc.
Jason Kavanaugh was responsible for increasing Questar Capital’s revenue through developing profitable marketing programs that offer innovative products and services; as well as a higher overall value to its representatives. Questar Capital began as a start-up, but over the next 8 years, Jason was instrumental in growing Questar into a national firm – registered to solicit securities products in all 50 states, licensed to solicit insurance products in 36 states, and registered in 30 states as a registered investment adviser. In 2005, the firm had grown to more than 30 home office employees and over 400 financial services professionals across the country. Jason’s most noteworthy accomplishment with Questar was his instrumental role in growing the company’s sales to $720 million, for total annual revenue of $40 million.
Jason also played critical roles as a Board Member, Principle, and Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions at Questar, receiving the national Inc. 500 Award for three consecutive years and the local FastTrack Award for four. In 2005, Questar was acquired by Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America, where he served as Vice President of Business Development.
A skilled financial services executive, Jason Kavanaugh has held noteworthy leadership roles including the CEO and President of Equitas America, LLC, an independent broker/dealer and a member of FINRA and SIPC. Jason has served as a Registered Representative, with his own clients, as well as an Officer or Director for Mariner Financial Services, InterSecurities, SII Investments and Sigma Financial Services.
Jason has been recognized as a leader that develops organizations around a customer centric culture which drives value to financial professionals and their clients. In addition to being listed as one of the Future 50 of Detroit for six years, he also served on the Board of Directors for the Detroit Chapter of the Entrepreneur Organization, which was one of three chapters in the world in 2011 to achieve the highest honor for two consecutive years. Having demonstrated his significant business acumen, he has also spoken at the following national conferences: Financial Planner Association (FPA), LIMRA International, the Michigan Insurance Agent Association (MIAA), and ADISA. In his leisure time, Jason Kavanaugh prioritizes spending time with his wife and four children in Ann Arbor, Michigan. An active family, the Kavanaughs enjoy fishing, golfing, boating, and a broad range of sporting events.
